We have installed Atlas WMS at the Sandvik Material Technology finished products warehouse in Sandviken, Sweden. The company is the world’s leading manufacturer of specialised stainless steel bars, tubes and pipes. The implementation of Atlas WMS in Sandvik was one of the largest and most challenging projects involving the installation of this system in the history of our company, so we are especially proud of what we achieved. Sandvik decided to replace their old WMS with our Atlas WMS, which we specifically adapted to their requirements. It now runs both manual and automated warehouses.

Before the introduction of the new ERP system, Hydro Belgium, part of Norsk Hydro corporation, also decided to modernise their warehouse management system. They introduced the Atlas WMS solution to improve warehouse efficiency and picking, as well as to ensure 100% traceability of the material throughout all finishing processes (sawing, wet painting, thermal treatment, etc.) carried out in Landen. Last year, Danfoss automated their raw materials warehouse with the MINILOAD warehouse system designed by the company Riko, d.o.o., Slovenia. In May 2019, Article 15 of the EU Tobacco Products Directive entered into force. It imposes an obligation on everyone, all natural and legal persons, engaged in the supply chain of tobacco products to maintain records of all movements of tobacco products so that they can be tracked and traced throughout the Union.
